The Platform
The infrastructure for live programmatic radio.

The shape
Two sides of the trade, on the same rails.
A two-sided platform. Buyers reach radio inventory through real-time bidding, with the audience data they're used to from programmatic display and video.
Broadcasters expose inventory to a wider demand pool, on floors and rules they control. Both sides report against the same data.

The novel IP
Why real-time programmatic on broadcast is possible.
Programmatic depends on knowing how many people are listening, right now. Traditional ratings can't do that — they're weeks out of date and don't cover most Canadian markets.
Resonate uses live streaming listenership as a proxy for total broadcast audience. The model knows that broadcast listening tends to look like a two-humped camel — peaks at morning and afternoon drive — while streaming looks like a bell curve, growing through the morning and declining through the afternoon.
The relationship between those two patterns produces a real-time estimate of total audience for every spot.
It's the same methodology that powers Pattison's Validate attribution product, in market five years across thousands of advertisers. Resonate is the real-time implementation of a proven model — not a research bet.

For buyers
Buy radio the way you buy everything else.
One DSP. One workflow. Live audience data on every bid. Spots that air minutes after the auction clears. Reporting that arrives as it happens.

For broadcasters
Yield without giving up control.
Floors stay yours. Daypart rules stay yours. The Traffic system stays yours.
What's new: demand you weren't reaching with manual sales, automated insertion into breaks that were going to air half-empty, and the yield optimization that comes with both.
