Real-time bidding
Real-time bidding for broadcast radio.
OpenRTB 2.6 into the Traffic system. Proven on air via Google DV360.
What it is
A live auction layer for broadcast.
Buyers submit bids per impression through programmatic networks. Resonate evaluates each bid against the broadcaster's floor, the daypart rules already set in Traffic, and the current real-time audience estimate.
Clearing happens in milliseconds — minutes before the spot is scheduled to air. The winning ad is inserted into the Traffic system through standard broadcast workflows.

What this replaces
The workflow you stop running.
Spec-sheet quoting. Telephone negotiations. The week-long gap between booking and airing. Inventory left unsold at the end of a daypart that didn't book in time.

Two sides
What it does, from each side of the trade.
Other pillars
The rest of the platform.
Real-time audience estimation
Live streaming listenership as a proxy for broadcast audience. The same methodology behind Validate, five years in market.

Real-time ad insertion
The commercial log, scanned minutes before each break. Winning ads inserted through the Traffic system.

Yield optimization
Bonus-spot replacement and cross-break reshuffling. More revenue from the same inventory.

Broadcaster controls
Floors, daypart rules, and approval workflows — set by broadcasters, enforced on every auction.

Traffic & playout integration
WideOrbit at launch, more in active development. No rip-and-replace.
